Full-time Maintenance Technician

at Twentieth Century Fox International New South Wales

The position is responsible for repair and maintenance works as allocated or scheduled by the Facilities Team Leader or as directed by Fox management. Works can consist of general basic repairs relative to carpentry/basic joinery to fixing odd jobs as required.

Operation and performance
- General and commercial maintenance
- Gyprock fixing and flushing
- Tiling, maintenance and repairs
- Basic joinery, installing basic kitchens and showers & small concrete works
- Painting
- Carpentry
- Handy work - Fixing doors, hanging pictures etc
- Fixing minor odd jobs on toilets and other plumbing on the premises
- Moving furniture
- General labouring
- Assist other team members as required
- Assist with all major repairs and upgrades
- Principal person responsible for the housekeeping of the workshop/store
- Prepare and maintain accurate reporting systems for stock control
Production and tenant Service
- Maintain strong customer relations with all productions and tenants.
- High level of professionalism when dealing with all clients.
- Meet the special needs of particular tenants and productions in consultation
Team relationships
- Ensure team relationships are maintained between internal staff as well as external contractors
- Attend staff meetings
- Provide feedback on the operations as required
Work Health and Safety
- Ensure compliance and cooperation with all FSA policies and procedures relative to Work Health and Safety
- Attend and participate in WHS meetings and appropriate training programs in relation to WHS
- Report, implement control measures and monitor WHS issues that may arise on a daily basis in consultation with the Facilities Team Leader
Drive organisational and team performance with active participation in all FSA HR programs and initiatives.
- All KPIs (Employee satisfaction, turnover, values audit) achieved. Consistently high level of skills available (through development and cross training) to provide superior customer service
- In conjunction with HR participate in annual performance reviews and identify training and development needs as required. Actively contribute as a key team member within specialist area, as well as through effective participation across all functional areas.

- Building or Technical Trade Skills
- Previous experience in General and commercial building maintenance
- Basic computer skills
- Relevant industry experience
- Ability to repair equipment
- Hold a Class C Unrestricted Drivers License
- Trade certificate / licenses
