Male Circus / Physical Theatre Performer
at A4 Ensemble - Regional NSW
An experienced performer is required for 3 weeks to work in an ensemble in order to create a 25 minute floor-based show. This project will be based on Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s short story ‘White Nights’. This project has been funded by an Australia Council grant.
The successful applicant must have
• A strong solo skill (e.g. contortion, handstands)
• An ability to collaborate
• An ability to comprehend & analyse text
• Aged 18 - 25
• Strong performance skills
A4 Ensemble members are;
Zoe Robbins (Performer), Nathan Boadle (Performer), Jess Connell (performer), Zeb Hunter (Artistic Director), Chris Thompson (Dramaturg) & Carl Polke (Musician)
Dates: 16th March to 5th April 09
Where: A Month in the Country – Hothouse Theatre, Albury
Salary: $500 per week plus food & accommodation
