Full-time Caravan Auditions 3M, 3F -40s, 1F -20s

at Theatre on Chester - Sydney

CARAVAN Takes a lighthearted look at friendship, age and holidays you should never have. Five best friends, in their early forties and hating it, take their first holiday together in a caravan. One of them brings along his new, and all-too-young girlfriend, who threatens the holiday from the start. Tensions are compounded with the heat, the wildlife, frayed relationships and inevitably, rain! In the confined space of a caravan, stress levels explode and the laughs begin!
First performed in 1983 by the Ensemble Theatre Company (Sydney), Caravan has been described as one of Australia’s ‘most successful local comedies’. The play was produced throughout Australia, has been performed in New Zealand, and in 1991 toured provincial centres in the UK.
