at QPAC Queensland
Queensland Performing Arts Centre welcomes all who dare to be bold, to take a chance and leap from street to stage with this exciting opportunity to compete in the inaugural Australian Busking Competition.
Successful open audition entrants will be fast-tracked into the heats. This is the last opportunity for musicians, dancers, singers, jugglers, hula-hoopers, fire-twirlers, contortionists or any sort of performer, to fill their hat, guitar case or bank account with $10,000 worth of cash and prizes.
What are you waiting for? QPAC WANTS YOU to entertain the masses, battle with the best of the best, and win the title of Australia’s Greatest Busker!
To participate in BU$K OPEN! registration is mandatory and can be done by ringing QPAC on (07) 3842 9137 or emailing busk@qpac.com.au. Registration closes Wednesday 1 July at 5pm. Competition entry is free.
BU$K OPEN! open auditions are on Saturday 4 July 2009 at Reddacliff Place, top of the Queen Street Mall, from 12pm – 3pm.
