at Newtown Theatre - Sydney
WANTED – FEARLESS ACTORS FOR HORROR THEATRE
Theatre of Blood is a new late-night horror program opening at the Newtown Theatre in October. It's modelled on the cult ultra-violent horror theatre, the Grand Guignol, which ran in Paris through the first half of the twentieth century, influencing everything from the films of Boris Karloff to Hammer Horror to Sweeney Todd. Theatre of Blood will play every Friday night at 10.30pm for an indefinite period.
We are looking for actors for the initial three-month season, with a view to joining the repertory. We are interested in all males and females between the ages of 18-70 who are not afraid of getting down, dirty and covered in blood!
Murder, incest, torture, rape: nothing is off limits at the Theare of Blood...
