at BOObook theatre - Melbourne
MelBorn09 is a Melbourne Writers Theatre and BOObook theatre co-production at Carlton Courthouse, running Wednesday - Sunday, 7-25 October. The programme will be two plays of 40-45 minutes, The Spider in the Rose by Deidre Oliver directed by Dione Joseph, and The Monkey on His Back by Cerise de Gelder directed by Sue Lindsay, two short plays 10-15 minutes, Loop by Therese Cloonan directed by Nicole Smith and Bathing with Tadpoles by Stephen Nichols directed by Fiona McQueen. Actors may be involved in one long and one or two short plays and will need to show a range of acting styles including drama and comedy.
Auditions will be held at 179 Melbourne Rd., Williamstown, from 5.00pm onwards on Sunday 26 July and Sunday 2 August.
We are asking actors coming to the audition to have a short monologue to perform and to please bring a copy of your C.V.
