at Defector Art Theatre - Melbourne
The second 'Short But Not So Sweet' is coming in June. It is the newest member of the 'Short And Sweet' family and it is the black sheep.
We have some rather bent 10 minute plays (one banned by the Victorian Arts Centre) and we are looking for some bent Directors to direct them.
If you don't know about 'Short But Not So Sweet' it is run the same as 'Short And Sweet' except we do the plays that are left of centre. The ones that may cause a stir with the audience. Last years show was very succesful, this years will be bigger, badder and better!
There will be awards for Best Production, Best Direction, Best Script, Best Female Actor, Best Male Actor. There will also be a peoples choice award for 'best headfuck'. The winner of Best Production will go straight into the finals of 'Short And Sweet Melbourne'. Two plays that we featured last year made it into the finals of 'Short And Sweet Sydney'.
The season will run from the 17th to the 20th of January. It will be on at the Cromwell Road Theatre South Yarra.
