This is a call out for all performers with singing ability and rock star attitude!
ROCKTAPUS! is a comedy/performance a cappella rock choir that do a cappella arrangements of rock songs (Queen, Zeppelin, Bon Jovi, ACDC, Radiohead, etc), currently auditioning more members.
You don’t need to be the greatest singer but you do need a good voice, performance experience, acting ability, stage presence and a bit of rock-star-showing-off-ness.

If you have an ability to rock-out, a more than generous dose of humour, can commit to weekly Sunday afternoon rehearsals 4.30pm-7pm (Glebe), audition! Email Linda at lindacalgaro@aapt.net.au to schedule an appointment or if you have any questions.

Current vacancies are 1 bass, 1 baritone, 1 tenor & 1 mezzo. Priority will be given to those who can confidently sing a rock solo.

Please note that Rocktapus! is more of a rock group than a choir that does rock songs shudder, so you must be a rock fan.
Also note that this is not a ‘send up’ choir, as such. Our commitment to singing rock is like that of the Air Guitarist, quirky & somewhat ridiculous but sincere and with integrity. We don’t wear spandex.
Rockatpus! are currently rehearsing repertoire for our launch in May.
