at Eagle's Nest Theatre - Melbourne
Touring ensemble production of Romeo and Juliet
Eagle’s Nest Theatre is dedicated to creating affordable, accessible and exciting productions/programs for schools and regional areas by connecting with the best of Melbourne’s independent artists.
We are creating a touring ensemble to satisfy our school production commitments and to provide improved profit-share earning potential for our artists.
We are seeking actors who will be available throughout 2010 (rehearsals commencing February 2010) for our production of Romeo and Juliet.
This production will be ready to tour throughout the year from April 2010 and will be available on demand to schools and other clients.
Payment is through profit-share.
Auditions will held from 15th to 22nd January,
Call backs from 25th jan to 5th Feb.
Auditions will be 20 minutes in duration and actors must:
• prepare a 2-3 min monologue from Romeo and Juliet.
• Bring two copies of their CV and a headshot.
Some roles will be available to both genders, in particular Nurse as a possible pantomime male.
