Lighting Designer
at Newtown Theatre - Sydney
The Fastest Clock in the Universe BY PHILIP RIDLEY
Newtown Theatre, March 31 – April 17 2010.
It's Cougar Glass' nineteenth birthday. Again. From the confines of their East End apartment he and his long-suffering companion, the devoted Captain Tock, make the final arrangements for Cougar's party. On the guest list is but one name: the innocent young Foxtrot Darling, a boy whom Cougar has far from the best intentions for. Imagine his surprise then when Foxtrot arrives with his pregnant fiance, the enigmatic Sherbet Gravel. The stage is set for a battle of wills as Sherbet plays a series of mindgames to expose Cougar for what he really is – the revelation leading to a thrilling and violent climax.
This exciting new production requires a relatively experienced lighting designer to support the director and create the appropriate design for the production. Must be available for bump in and tech run.
