Eagles Nest Theatre Company presents M. the Scottish Play (MACBETH)
Touring Season: Confirmed bookings: 2010 *21st July, 13th August, 7th September, 11th October
Production Season: 21st-25th August 2010
General Information
We are seeking actors for our forthcoming production of Macbeth by William Shakespeare.
Directed by Peita Collard, M….The Scottish Play, is to be staged as part of a 1 week general public season at Northcote Town Hall in August 2010. Macbeth is to be staged as an ongoing repertoire production. This means that we are developing the show specifically for touring to schools and wineries. We already have confirmed school touring bookings on 21st July, 13th August, 7th September, 13th October 2010 and have a marketing team on board who will be working to get us extra touring shows between July and Nov. In addition to the touring commitments we will also be performing at Northcote Town Hall from August 21st – 25th 2010. Participants will be given min 6 weeks notice for all addition booking.
Payment for this position is on a profit share basis. With a number of school bookings already confirmed the production will be starting the general public season from close to a break-even point. This means that most of the door takings from the General Public season will go directly into profit share. We also anticipate that Macbeth will have a broad appeal and sell well and that the import works will bring a substantial audience with them.
