Call for actors [2 female/2 male]
at subtlenuance - Sydney
subtlenuance’s newest play "Life is Impossible" will be produced at Newtown Theatre from 26/9/10 to 16/10/10.
"Life is Impossible" is a historical drama in the same genre as subtlenuance’s ambitious and very well received 2009 production of "Catherine at Avignon".
Here is what several critics had to say about "Catherine":
· “a significant achievement in writing, direction and staging, and Paul Gilchrist is obviously a playwright worth watching,” MediaCulture
· “poetic and whimsical [and] at times wickedly funny… the script is the real star.” Alternative Media Group
· “Amidst the sin and the sarcasm are startling moments of poetry….what Catherine at Avignon does is…. akin to soaring.” The Brag
