Senior Technical Operator - Workshop and Sets
at Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre - Sydney
Capturing the renowned spirit and vitality of Sydney, the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre is Australia's leading events venue, located on the waterfront in the Darling Harbour precinct.
This role would suit someone from a theatrical, event, exhibitions and/or entertainment background who is seeking a secure and supportive environment with regular, yet flexible work hours, ever changing projects and the resources of a large and successful organisation to draw on. The role is autonomous at times yet plays an important part in the wider team for the delivery of exceptional events.
The successful applicant will bring with them, ideas, creativity, and a proven track record of theatre crafts, trades skills and teamwork. Importantly, the right candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, be systematic and process orientated.
Occupational health and safety is a key driver behind the role and the right person will be strongly committed to supporting the Centre's Health Safety and Environment culture.
The Centre provides a well equipped workshop and all the tools and resources required to excel in the role.
