at Out Cast Theatre - Melbourne
Experienced Male Actor Wanted for 2011 Midsumma season by award winning theatre company.
Show Title – ‘Mr Braithwaite has a new boy’ by Steven Dawson
Age Range – 20 to 30
Dates Required – Rehearsals November/December – some evenings and weekends
Performance Dates – Jan 14th – Feb 12th, Tues to Sat 8pm
Payment – Co-op (If profit is made it will be split between the cast and crew)
Audition Dates – ASAP
Warning: Some nudity required
While this is a play with gay themes, you do not need to be. Out Cast employs many straight and gay actors. The only requirement is that you are comfortable with the material and able to perform it well.
About the Show
The story of Mr Braithwaite and his search for someone to leave his millions to and what happens when a young bit of trade enters his life trying to weasel his way into his bed and his wallet. With 3 actors portraying roles ranging from the narcoleptic land lady, the greedy brother in-law and an incontinent cat, the question remains, who out of this band of misfits will win the day and the pot of gold.
