Lighting Designer Needed
at Moving Theatre (Anywhere)
Moving Theatre need a committed, passionate lighting designer with varied experience for an early December production of Manonita, to be performed at the Euro Masonic hall Sunshine, a brand new theatre space. We are a small independent theatre company with big goals. A positive attitude and strong work ethic is essential.
Manonita is an Original piece about love, loss and the human mind. Opening to the bright lights of a padded cell, we find a young woman, Fragile and aged, She takes us on a journey through the events in her mind which changed her life forever.
A family home, its walls holding years of secrets and a little girl who struggles to break free. Manonita meaning ‘ lead by the mind’ is older now, and thinks she has left the past behind her, Until she returns to the home she had once loathed, and things begin to change. Her younger brother comes home to finds something in Manonita has changed.
