DIRECT FROM L.A. - A ONE DAY MASTER INTENSIVE with THE RUNAWAYS &
SONS OF ANARCHY L.A. CASTING DIRECTOR LYNDSEY BALDASARE
WORK INTIMATELY WITH ONE OF AMERICA'S TOP CASTING DIRECTORS
Unlike any other American Casting Workshop held in Australia where actors are given a Q & A then a quick audition with a feedback score card, this master intensive will offer the applicants a rare insight into the L.A. Casting process. This is Lyndsey's first trip to Australia and she is extremely excited about working with Australian actors and hopefully discovering new talent.
In this workshop, Lyndsey will cast each actor in a two hander scene of her choice, from their headshot and/or showreel.
The actors will prepare their scene before the workshop commences. Lyndsey will then focus on each actor individually, constructively critiquing and directing their performance.
She will also view and advise on the actor's promotional resources such as their showreels and headshots.
A native of Los Angeles, Lyndsey Baldasare has always been fascinated and inspired by the movie industry. She holds a Bachelor of Theater Arts degree from UCLA, a Masters of Business Administration from Webster University and is a member of the Casting Society of America.
Lyndsey got her start in the industry under the tutelage of famed casting director Mali Finn (Titantic / LA Confidential) and Emily Schweber (Secondhand Lions) working on such films as Garry Marshall’s Raising Helen and David Gordon Green’s The Undertow.
Throughout the years she has been associate casting on both film and television projects such as: The Runaways starring Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart and the critically acclaimed FX series Sons of Anarchy.
Recently she co-cast Season 5 of the hit FX series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and the MTV scripted series The Hard Times of RJ Berger created by Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg.
Lyndsey is currently associate casting the much anticipated television series Wonder Woman for Warner Brothers and NBC with friend and Gossip Girl's casting director David Rapaport.
