Stage Manager required for Hamlet
at Emu Heights Productions Inc. Penrith, NSW

Emu Heights Productions Inc. will present \"Hamlet\", an adaptation specially designed for HSC English students and to be performed to the general public in Western Sydney’s iconic Q Theatre.
Emu Heights Productions Inc.: formed in 2010, our objective is to support the education of young people in Western Sydney through professional performance of drama texts studied at school. In our inaugural year of production we are presenting two HSC English texts:
“The Shoe-Horn Sonata” by John Misto in May and
“Hamlet” by William Shakespeare in August.
Enthusiastic and committed crew are sought for Emu Heights Productions Inc’s presentation of “Hamlet” from 24th – 27th August 2011.
Production Schedule from June- August
Profit Share agreement with entire production team
Penrith based Rehearsals and Performances
Stage Manager duties include:
• Liaises with Director and Production Manager regarding all staging and production requirements
• Manages rehearsals with the Director
• Manages Bump-In, Tech and Dress, Performances, and Bump-Out
• Approx 200 hours over 10 weeks
We\'d like the Stage Manager to attend the majority of the rehearsals. Our current rehearsal schedule is:
Saturdays 4th and 18th June
Each Monday and Wednesday daytime from end of June until end of August (~8 weeks)
Saturdays 13th and 20th August
Production week 22-27 August
