Auditions and positions available For Eagle's Nest 2012 Ensemble
at Eagle's Nest Theatre Victoria
Eagle's Nest Theatre is in the process of putting together an Ensemble of Actors and Theatre Makers for our 2012 Theatre in Education repertory program.
In Addition to Actors we will also be seeking Actor/Stage managers, Actor Set/Designers, Actor/Costumiers and People who want to join in the marketing of the shows.
Anyone interested in taking on non acting roles will also need to audition and be cast as an actor.
The shows planned thus far are -
- COSI in May/June
- 12 Angry Men in July August
- And a remount of Colin Craig's acclaimed M throughout 2012.
The way we expect that it will work is that we will have a core Ensemble of about 10-12 Actors who will get first pick of the performances they want to to do and another 4-6 Actors who we use as understudies.
COMMITMENTS/FEES
Actors will be notified of gig at least 6 weeks in advance.
Performers will be paid a per diem of $80 per performance.
Rehearsal for the core ensemble on each show will be one week part time and one week full time.
Actors understudying roles will be expected to attend at least one full rehearsal and then just jump in.
All actors will be required to arrive at the first rehearsal with lines learned.

The break down of what we are looking for is as follows.
Men
1-2 actors, aged 45+
2-3 actors, aged 30-45
3-4 actors, aged 18-30
Women
1-2 actors, aged 45+
2-3 actors, aged 30-45
3-4 actors, aged 18-30
DATES:
Mon 14th - 3pm - 9pm
Sat 19th - 9am - 3pm
Mon 21st 3pm - 9pm
NB:ACTORS MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR CALL BACK - ON SAT 26th NOV FROM 9 am - 12pm
