Friday and Saturday nights at 8pm
Sunday matinée at 4.30pm
A reading of the play will be held on Thursday January 19th, 7pm at the Genesian Theatre, 420 Kent St, Sydney.
Auditions will be held Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd January.
Set in 1938 in London at the time of the public scandal about the Prince of Wales' liason with a twice divorced American Wallis Simpson, causing a threat to the English throne.
Cast:
Queen Mary of Teck widow of late King George V
Aged 69 at the time of the abdication.
King Edward VIII (David)
42 at the time of his abdication.
The Duke of York, 'Bertie' later George VI
(The subject of The Kings Speech) Younger brother of the King.
The Duchess of York, wife of Bertie
The future Queen Elizabeth.
Mabel, Countess Airlie and The Hon. Margaret Wyndham
ladies in waiting to the Queen.
The Princess Royal, Mary,
sister of David and Bertie.
