Full-time Samuel French - Australia/New Zealand Marketing Coordinator

The Australia/New Zealand Marketing Coordinator assists with the promotion and licensing of the Samuel French catalog in the territories of Australia and New Zealand. This includes maintaining industry relationships, developing promotional activity, and advising on strategy. This position is essentially the “boots on the ground” support for the Marketing and Licensing departments in the US and UK offices of Samuel French.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Establish and maintain relationships with contacts at top professional and amateur theaters and schools in Australia and New Zealand
- Assist with developing marketing strategy for increasing Samuel French profile.
- Update and maintain territory-specific social media accounts.
- Update territory-specific website and/or blog
- Manage license requests with US/UK offices and local subagent.
- Coordinate direct mail promotions for titles.
- Maintain database of theatrical contacts across both territories.
- Manage e-mail lists and e-marketing strategy.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this position is someone with a working knowledge of the Australia and New Zealand theater scene. CANDIDATE MUST LIVE IN AUSTRALIA AND BE WILLING TO TRAVEL WITHIN AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND. Prior experience in marketing/promotions/PR preferred. Candidates should be so detail oriented that in their cover letter for this position; they will mention their favorite word. Candidates should be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
