I\‘m Paola Landini, I have worked for seven years in Italian Show Business (Opera, Musical, Drama and Movies) like Seamstress, Dresser and sometimes like Designer.
With regard to the mastery of the tools, I use plain sewing machines, serger, iron with vacuum suction arm, washing machine and dryer.

I began my career behind the scenes of small festivals until i had the honor to work with significant companies and theaters like Arena in Verona (Opera) or Stage Entertainment in Milan (Musical).
I decide to move myself in Australia, especially in Melbourne, becouse it has some of the most important stages around the world.

Hi, I’m an audio technician of 8 years, though i have no formal training i have worked in all aspects of audio from touring rock – theater professional and amateur. I have worked in the live music scene for about 6 years, dealing with the small pub style shows right thought to festival including soundwave, harvest, stereo sonic etc,

In the theater world i have been working at the victorian arts center as an audio operator/designer for the last 3 years, as well as frankston arts centre as an audio operator/designer, lighting operator and Fly Mechanist.

Recently returned from working as Head Sound & Light Technician on board cruise ships I am looking to return into my love of theatre.

I have a very good work ethic, always trying to think ahead of what we needs to be done and taking pride in working very hard to complete a job with the highest possible level of quality.

My skills encompass lighting design, installation and operation for music, theatre or festivals. I am formally trained in moving light maintenance and have a good eye for troubleshooting to ensure no show gets affected by a failed fixture.

I am physically fit and always willing to put in the hard yards as well as always open to learn from my co-workers as well as train where necessary, my belief is that no-one can know everything and we each have new methods or ideas that could make a job easier..

My love is theatre but I am willing to do anything, I also have good working knowledge of audio as well as video setup and operation.

As part of this program Wakakirri will be running an Industry Day workshop for all secondary schools registered. Here students will receive industry professional training within: Directing, Designing, Lighting/Audio and Acting/Choreography.

The ideal candidate for this position will encompass skills in both acting, dance/physical theatre, choreography and facilitating workshops.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to pass on their knowledge of the performing arts industry to secondary school students helping them to create creative pathways for their future.

My name is Hayley Mitchelmore, I have a Bachelors degree in Stage Management and have also run my own freelance business as a Theatre/Events Technician.

Working I theatre I was lucky to be involved in various different musicals, dramas, dance shows and more, in different venues around London, for example Theatre Royal Stratford East, Stratford and The Ovalhouse, Kennington. While running my own Freelance Company in London I collaborated with some very prestigious Event Management Companies, which allowed me to work in stunning venues such as The Royal Albert hall and Buckingham Palace along with enjoying outdoor festivals and concerts.

I also have lots of experience in managerial positions in Hospitality therefore over the years I have continued to fine tune my management, team supervision, customer service and self-motivation skills.

I am currently looking for an opportunity to continue my work in Stage Management or Events Management as both offer the ability to expand my knowledge and further my career while continuing to use my skills already aquired.

With over 20 years experience in life theatre I am looking now for a full time position in a venue/theatre company as lighting technician/operator or any other suitable position.

Originally from Germany where I held positions as lighting technician, assistant technical manager and technical manager and where I also had the opportunity to design many sets and countless lighting designs, now living and working for 10 years in Australia.

I am reliable and hard working, always giving my best for every performance.

Anywhere in Australia is possible, I do like living and working in small towns a little more rural, I also would be very interested in working anywhere in Tasmania. But major cities such as Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth are not out of the question. For the right position I am willing to go anywhere.
